Adam J. Rappaport has been an associate with the firm since 2002, and is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and in Maryland. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rappaport served as a law clerk to the Honorable David G. Trager of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Mr. Rappaport completed his undergraduate studies at Wesleyan University receiving his B.A. in 1991. He worked as a journalist for six years prior to attending law school at both National Journal’s Congress Daily and the States News Service.

Mr. Rappaport received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2001 with honors. He was a member of the University of Chicago Law Review, which published his note, The Court of International Trade’s Political Party Diversity Requirement: Unconstitutional Under Any Separations of Powers Theory, 68 U. Chi. L. Rev. 1429 (2001).
